Workshop on Conducting Research

Just came back from the workshop. Before i attended, thought it was a really informative and useful workshop, but it disappointed me! Wasted my money $$! Luckily they charged not too expensive, if not " I betul-betul rugi & buang masa ku!".

There are all together 5 speakers, out of this only 2 are "considered" good and informative for me. The 2nd one was talking on "Research Ethics" and was the longest and most boring presentation. None of the participant "interested" to ask questions. The 1st and the 4th speakers just gave a very very general talk and if i dun attend, i also know about that topics. "Writing & Publish for papers" were the interesting and informative talk. I finally gained something from these 2 spekers. Overall, I rated the workshop as "AVERAGE" standard!

Hari Raya Haji, 10 Jan 2006, my beloved grandpa passed away at aound 3.15pm in hospital. It was really unexpected for us. He was sent to the hospital on 9 Jan evening by the ambulance and then doctor said he has to admitted to ward. The next morning we received a called from hospital and asked us to be there quickly as he was in a very critically condition. We rushed to the hospital and doctor said he needs an operation but the infection was too quick. It went into his blood circulation before the doctor can save him. At the end, he was gone with no pain but left with us who were very very sad.

I no longer can go to "Pasar Malam" with him, cann't see his smile everyday i reach home and cann't chat with him anymore. I am one of the very close grandchild for him. When he was ill, i was the one who fetch him to hospital, waited there with him for seeing the doctors and to get medicine. I am the one who "teman" him to "Pasar Malam" on Thursday. He was the one who "teman" me to watch horror movie showed on Astro. Now, he has gone! I really love him. I miss my "Wa gong" very much. I think he is in heaven happily with grandma!
